RECENT GIFTS IN KINDThere are many companies that have kindly donated us their services or equipment which we normally could not afford, in order to help the work of Gilead and its' busineses. HAEMMERLIN - thank you for supporting us recently with 2 new wheelbarrows for the building project. www.haemmerlin.ltd.uk PFIZER ANIMAL HEALTH support us with animal medication for the cows which of course is a vital need. INTERVET have also recently donated some vaccine for the cows, which we are very grateful for. POLESTAR FOODS, our local factory also keeps us stocked on sweet goodies such as cheesecakes and pies.
Twose of Tiverton gave the farm a rubber for the yard scraper which we are grateful for. GREGORIES TRANSPORT are supporting our upcoming fund-raiser. Identibadge - we thank them for their recent donation of visitors books and badges so that we can monitor who visits us. Heritage Envelopes and World of Envelopes recently donated large envelopes for us to use in our admin department - thank you very much!
KILLGERM Thanks to them once again for their continued kindness and a donation of rat and mice boxes. They also kindly gave tyre baiters for the farm in 2008, as well as providing us with fly chains for our new chicken unit at a reduced price.
WAVIN helped us by donating underground drainage pipes.
RITCHEY TAG have kindly supported us over many years with ear tags for our dairy herd. Their recent donation is much appreciated. ADVANTA SEEDS have kindly donated grass seeds for the farm land over the past few years, and we thank them for their continued support. OKEHAMPTON FOOD BANK also continue to support us. PREMIER FOODS have continued to support us with Ambrosia products to keep our love of desserts satisfied! CHADDS, based in near Bude, continue to donate frozen foods which we greatly value and makes life easier in the kitchen and finance department! We are currently in need of 1 ex-refridgerated 40ft unit to use as a food store, which are in the region of £1500 to purchase second-hand. If anyone can help with this need or give advice as to where to look, please contact Jo Drew. CHERRY VALLEY FARMS have continued to give us ducklings which we rear and use to help feed our community here. P.D.HOOK HATCHERIES in Oxford have also continued to give us chicks which help feed our community. AVIAGEN donated turkeys in 2008, which we also rear and use to cater for not only our Christmas dinner, but eat on a weekly basis!
